When you work in a restaurant, you are expected to be professional and courteous. When you work in a clothing store, you are expected to be a customer first and a vendor second. When you work in a hotel, you are expected to be courteous and polite. When you work in a home, you are expected to be professional.
This is what I mean by professional. Working in a business requires a level of consistency. You need to be on task every single moment of every day. If you work from home, you need to be on-task every single minute of every day. If your boss comes to you and says, “I need you to work with me on my project,” you need to be on-task every day, so that you can be there when he needs you.
This is what I mean by the “proper” business person. When I say “proper,” I mean that you need to be on-task every single moment of every single day. If you work from home, you need to be on-task every single minute of every single day.

This is the idea behind our Aldi dress code. It is supposed to make our stores as efficient as possible, and it is supposed to make customers as happy as possible. At a minimum, our store owners need to be able to tell us if they need a dress made for an upcoming event. If they do, we need to make it (or find someone who can make it).
The idea is that you need to be on-task the whole time at work so that you can be on-task when you need to be at home. This means not taking extra time, like using the bathroom, because you’re not in the store. But there are other aspects to the dress code that make up the overall idea.
We need to be able to tell customers when we need a dress made. We need to be able to tell customers that we have a limited number of dresses because there will probably be a few that we dont need because theyre too small. And we need to be able to tell customers that we have a limited number of dresses because there is only one dress that is a dress that is too small.
The dress code idea is a good one, but our dress code must also be based on our size, and that means we need to make sure we aren’t breaking the dress code by providing sizes that are too small or too large. I’m not sure how much of a problem that is, but I do know that it is one of the reasons we have to keep our inventory a bit smaller than we would like.
The dress code is something that we’ve been thinking about, but we are still a bit tentative about it. Many customers have told us that we are very strict about our dress code. We know our customers are a very loyal bunch, and we want them to feel good about shopping with us. It doesn’t matter if they like the dress, or if it is the perfect dress. What matters is that they feel good about us being available to them.
We feel that we have to be very very specific about what we are willing to sell to our customers. We know some people like to be able to pick and choose what they want from the very limited selection of our store. Others want to be able to buy cheap stuff at great discount with no worries of how it will affect their budgets. I think these are all very legitimate concerns.
