Why does this book fail? Because its not really about eating your own meals. I mean, I don’t think it’s about eating your own meals, but it is more about eating your own food (i.e. veggies, fruits, and legumes) and not eating your own food (i.e. carbs, fats, and oils) and not eating as much as you should when you want to.
The book doesn’t really have much of a story. It is more of an explanation of how different diets worked for people and how different food preferences affect obesity and weight. The author also talks about the difficulties of being overweight, how it’s difficult to loose weight, the ins and outs of eating healthy, and how it’s hard to actually lose weight.
