This is the most common misconception when it comes to self-care. Everyone wants to know, “If I could do anything I wanted, what would I do?” We say that we can do anything we want, but we are missing the point. I’ve been asked if I would be up for counseling as a means of dealing with the stress of life. Well, I’d like to say yes, but that would be a pretty terrible answer. So, maybe we both know that it is not possible for us to do everything we’d like to do. And that’s okay. There’s always the option of doing something without it being perfect, and that’s awesome.
But what about the stress that comes with trying to meet our goals and accomplish our dreams? Well, like any job, the stress of life can make it difficult to do our job.
