I work from home for a living, and I’ve always felt that I needed to be home at all times. For me, that meant that I didn’t need to be able to leave the house at a moment’s notice. I had to be able to leave the house whenever I wanted to.
The only problem with this statement, is that it actually contradicts the statement that you need to be able to leave the house whenever you want. If you only need to leave the house when you’re at work, then you aren’t truly at home.
It does. We all have to leave the house at a moments notice, but that doesnt mean we need to be at work all the time. If you are at home at all times, then you arent truly at home. So, its not always the case, that if you are at home at all times, you are truly at home. When we say that we want our lives to be at home with our families, we are really not at home.
I think its safe to say that if you are at home at all times, you are truly at home. I also think that we should all be at home, and the less we are at home, the better.
The first thing that comes to your mind when you hear that word is “work.” But, you know what? Work is important. I am at my desk in my office all day, and I love it. Some days, I can’t get out of the office to go do something that I absolutely want to be doing. This is because I truly do not like being at my desk all day.
At work, you are always at your desk. But at home, you are at home. You are surrounded by your family and your friends. You are in your own space. You can work on your laptop in the same room as your baby and your dog. You can work on your phone in the same room as your kids and your pets.
This is the reason behind the ‘I hate my office’ attitude. You are at home, your family and friends are around you, and there is no one else to talk to. To leave the office and go do something that you feel is important enough to be working on at your desk on your laptop is like a kid being sent to their favorite playgroup to play while the rest of your friends are at a birthday party. And you are the only person in that playgroup.
This is the reason why every day we run into new people who are just starting their workdays.
As you work in a job every day, you get accustomed to the idea that you don’t go anywhere that is different without your colleagues. You know that you are expected to go to meetings, go on interviews, and keep your boss happy. However, as a job begins to take your focus away from the people you love and your own personal life, you find that there are times when you just can’t sit in your office.
This is why, for most of us, work at home isnt really a possibility. Unless you are planning on working from home full time, you are not going to be able to enjoy a lot of the benefits that an office environment could offer. For example, you can do more work and spend less time on your personal life. It’s also nice to be able to get your work done when you need to.
