Here are my own salary expectations for the future, along with the average salary for a service advisor in the United States.
As a service advisor, you are actually paid much less than the average service advisor. But why? A lot of it is because you have to work really hard for your money. Unlike a regular business, you don’t have employees pay dues and become members and all of that good stuff. You also have to do a lot of work for your clients, so it’s not a casual work environment.
The reason for the lower pay is you tend to work very long hours that aren’t compensated by your client’s time. If you only worked 10 hours per week, you would earn less than $10 per hour. But if you worked 50 hours a week, you’d be earning $50 per hour. To make you feel more like a professional, you have to be willing to work at a much slower pace and keep a large number of clients happy.
The service advisor salary does not pay you to work long hours. It only pays you to work at a slow pace and keep clients happy. Its not just about staying busy and working longer hours with clients. Its about also showing up to work on time, meeting clients and answering their questions.
I’m not sure it’s ever been quite as easy to get a job. The service economy has always been a little bit of an uphill battle. But in the past (especially as it relates to service industry jobs) a job at a large company was a lot easier than a job as a small startup. If you could show a lot of interest and commitment, you could get hired by a big company. But if you didn’t have any clients, you were an easy target for a startup.
This is an interesting and important point. We have always been a small company. We were a tech startup in the mid-2000s. We had the advantage of being able to build our business on our own terms. But because we were small, we didn’t have the leverage of being able to leverage the services of big companies to get our way. At the same time, we did have the advantage of being able to make a big splash with our product when it was ready.
Today, we are a medium-sized company, and we make a lot more from our technology than we did from our product. We have the advantage of working with a lot more companies than we did before. We have the advantage of working with a lot of different companies.

This is a big advantage for any company in tech, but especially one that is so young. In the mid-2000s you had to be pretty damn sure that your company was going to be a success before you launched your service. It was the early days of the SaaS space when it seemed like everyone had a product, but no one had a real idea how to make it work. It was a time when you needed to convince yourself that you had something that could be useful.
The same is true for services like web design. You need to understand what you’re doing and develop a skill set that will help you create that service. In many cases, this will mean you need to have a good idea of how much value your service will create for the customer.
